In which I ramble.
01 First time ever that I read so many hate posts about Yoochun. Which is depressing because he is my JYJ bias after all (and my 2nd TVXQ favorite). I was shocked, of course. I don’t believe in physical violence unless it’s for self-defense (then again, it should be the very last resort). If indeed Yoochun hit that fan, I will not come to his defense and will be extremely disappointed. But I have reason to believe that it wasn’t Yoochun so I wish people would just let this issue rest. I’ve had the chance of seeing Yoochun in person and I thought that he was lovely. He was very pleasant to the fans and actually did the most fan-service. That said, I know Yoochun has his off-days and there have been many accounts when he was less than friendly to fans. But give the guy a break. You can’t really expect them to be all rainbows and butterflies every time they’re off-camera or off-stage. To the actual person who hit that woman, SHAME ON YOU.
02 In the last few weeks, I’ve been paying less attention to my Kpop fandoms. And I don’t regret it one bit. TVXQ are pretty much inactive (because Yunho and Changmin are busy being Tohoshinki and touring Japan). Super Junior are also touring for Super Show 4, SHINee….actually, I have no idea what SHINee has been up to these past few months. So I’ve been indulging in all things Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston. ^o^ Ever since I watched Sherlock, my fandom life has somehow taken a turn towards English men. :)) It’s been a long time since I’ve been like this. I don’t even remember the last European guy I fan-girled over (although it may well have been my Gaspard Ulliel phase early last year). But at least, I don’t have to deal with fandom drama because my new fandoms are pretty much full of love love love.
03 In relation to 02, I’ve been watching every Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston movie/tv show available to me. Johnny Depp has always been my favorite actor (after watching Edward Scissorhands when I was in grade school). But these two are slowly trying to steal that spot away from Mr. Depp. Maybe because they’ve been quite active and I still have loads to watch. Fortunately, Johnny Depp has a new vampire movie coming out. And it may serve to boost my affections for him. Haha.
